The bathroom with a bath or shower was absolutely amazing! It felt so luxurious to soak in the tub after a long day of exploring. I loved the modern fixtures and the soothing color scheme. As someone who enjoys a good pampering session, this bathroom was perfect for me.
The only downside for me was the bathroom with just a shower. I personally prefer having the option to take a relaxing bath, but I understand that others might still enjoy a refreshing shower.

The cottage had a charming and cozy decoration, with beautiful furnishings and tasteful decor. It felt like a warm and inviting home away from home. The general areas were well-maintained and provided a comfortable space to relax and unwind. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility was excellent for senior people like myself. The paths were well-lit and easy to navigate, and there were handrails in the necessary areas for extra support. It made me feel safe and secure throughout my stay.
I would simply ask for the children working there to provide more assistance and guidance regarding the heating system. It would have been helpful to have clear instructions on how to operate the heaters, as well as how to adjust the temperature for optimal comfort.

This place was absolutely epic! The location was just perfect for our school trip and the kitchen was super tidy and fully equipped. The wood burner added a cozy touch, even though it took up some space. And can we talk about the outdoor space? It was fabulous to have our own little slice of paradise. Also, the fact that we could park right by the front door was a huge bonus, especially when sudden rain storms hit. it was mind-blowing how centrally located this place was for walks, pub meals, coffee runs, and groceries. And hey, we even got glimpses of students from the nearby school, which gave the town an unexpectedly lively vibe. Plus, who doesn't love having Wi-Fi, an off-site car park, and the option to bring our pets along? Oh, and no smoking on site was a big win for us. All in all, we had a blast here. Highly recommended!

The room was cozy and cute, and we were actually surprised to find tea and red wine waiting for us. The location in town was perfect, with everything we needed within walking distance. The staff at Sykes Cottages and the owner were helpful and accommodating when we experienced an electrical issue.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety and options.

Cold start. When I arrived in the afternoon during winter, the storage heaters were not turned on.

The bathroom at Fells Cottage was amazing! It had not one, but two bathrooms - one with a bath or shower and the other with just a shower. As a bike rider, I loved being able to relax and unwind in the bathtub after a long day of exploring Sedbergh. It felt like pure bliss!
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the shower in one of the bathrooms. But hey, that's just my opinion.

The value for money at this cozy cottage in a central location was excellent. The room was clean and tidy, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely wood burner. The staff were attentive and the tea, coffee, milk, and wine waiting for us on arrival were a welcome touch.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with a greater variety of smaller saucepans for cooking.
